The Tennessee Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators is proud to celebrate our 49th year in financial aid. The mission of the TASFAA is to develop and maintain an organizational structure that promotes professional preparation and growth, collaboration, effectiveness and mutual support of its diverse body of members as they strive to serve the needs of students, families, institutions and other constituencies in providing financial assistance to help meet post-secondary educational expenses.

In addition, we believe that growth as a profession is dependent upon being provided opportunities for training, mentorship, networking and relationship building. This year our annual conference will continue to focus on these aspects of growth that are vital to the success of our members through a strong program, multiple outstanding afternoon and morning speakers, and several networking opportunities for you to attend.

This year our Annual Conference will be held April 23-26, 2017 at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. TASFAA needs your support for this successful training event. Our “Building Together” conference will continue our dedication to you, our partners, to help you promote your goals, to make your conference stay in Murfreesboro truly worthwhile and to help you support your school-based clients as they work to ensure that the students of Tennessee are able to achieve the goal of a post-secondary education.

We have enhanced vendor opportunities, access to registration lists, and breaks located inside the vendor area to assist you in promoting your products and services. The past two years have seen a steady increase in attendance and we are looking forward to once again breaking attendance records this April with over 350 attendees.

What continues to make TASFAA special is our yearly unification for this premier training event. We learn from each other and as a vendor, this means one conference comprised of all segments of education. Thank you so much for considering participation in the 2017 TASFAA Annual Conference. The call for session proposals is open. We’re excited to have our attendees see what your teams are offering. There continues to be so many new products and services from which our schools can benefit and we truly believe our Annual Conference is one of the best opportunities your school clients have to devote their attention to learning about what you have to offer – services that can make not only their offices run more efficiently but help them better serve the families and students that come to them for help.

To be part of this experience, please complete the sponsorship form and submit it to me by email or fax. I look forward to seeing you in Murfreesboro!

Thank you for your support of the Tennessee Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. With your financial support, TASFAA is able to keep conference training costs at a reasonable level for those attending. We are anxiously looking forward to even greater success at this year’s conference, which will be held April 24-27, 2016, at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN.

Please consider the TASFAA Conference, as you make budgetary commitments before the end of the calendar year. With your contributions, you enable schools to provide training for Financial Aid staff, essential in their service to students, families, and institutions. In addition, schools are aware of the resources you have to offer. All vendors are provided an opportunity to exhibit in a highly visible area. Recognition is given on the website, in programs, and verbally during one of the conference luncheons.

TASFAA also provides you with the opportunity for Vendor Sponsored sessions. The session will be advertised in the program as a vendor sponsored sessions. We welcome your participation in any of our other sessions in which you have expertise but are not promoting your company. Please let me know of your interest no later than the middle of January, as we will be promoting the conference and you will want to be included.

Attached is an invoice which includes this year’s sponsorship levels. The form can be completed and emailed to me. TASFAA will then bill your organization for the requested amount.
